Agnus Dei Conclave.   4 New Worthy Knights Join our Order

On Friday 10th November 2017, our Deputy Intendent General V. Ill Kt. Fred Hargreaves was present at Agnus Dei Conclave, meeting at Southport Masonic Hall, accompanied by Ill. Kt Geoff Gill, the Divisional Marshall, to witness four new Knights joining the Conclave.

The proceedings were commenced with them being greeted by the Most Puissant Sovereign W.Kt. John Ford and 23 members of the Conclave in the Bar area, prior to the ceremony. The Companions were made welcome, then led upstairs, to dress in their Chapter regalia, whilst the Conclave was opened in the Hannay Temple.

Three Companions, Stuart Crannage, Tom Hughes and David Culshaw were led into the Conclave and sat in the South, whilst the Fourth Alister Sainter was led around the Conclave, doing the workings of the Ceremony, until it came to taking the Oath. From that moment on, all four Companions were together and individually made Worthy Knights, with the V.Ill. Kt. Fred Hargreaves doing the accolade and W. Kt. Cliff Boynton doing the Oration.

The Conclave prides itself on its fine dining menu and the Lamb Rump was deliciously tender and well received. A convivial festive board was enjoyed in the usual Red Cross of Constantine manner. A good night was had by all and another four Knights join our fantastic Order.
Finally, the KHS ceremony for the four Worthy Knights is on Wednesday 17th January 2018. The 3-course main meal is Beef Wellington (£20) We would love to see you there.
